David Enticknap serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Extel since October 2023, previously holding the position of Head of II Research at Institutional Investor from August 2019 to October 2023. David began as Head of Extel in August 2016, where responsibilities included navigating the challenges of industry change post-acquisition by Institutional Investor in March 2018. Prior to these roles, David was Managing Director and Head of Client Strategy at MainFirst Bank AG from April 2014 to July 2016, and Managing Director at EKP Consulting Ltd. in early 2014. David's earlier experience includes Director of Client Management at CLSA, Head of Asia eMarketing at UBS Investment Bank, and a role in Program Trading Settlements at Nat West, complemented by a military career as a Commissioned Officer in the British Army from 1986 to 1997. David holds a degree in Computer Science & Statistics from the University of Hertfordshire.
