Stephen Couch has over 20 years of experience in the audio and video engineering fields. Stephen began their career in 1999 as an Audio Technician at Walt Disney World. In 2000, they began working as a Freelance Video Cameraman for Sonja Hamlin Communications and a Freelance Field Producer for Web-casts for eXstream Solutions. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Systems Engineer/Help Desk Support for Medius Vision Network. In 2005, they took on a Freelance Audio Engineer role at AVI Audio Video Integrated and a Freelance Web-cast Engineer and MAP Digital role at MAP. In 2006, they became a Systems Engineer for the Johnson City school system and a Network/Systems Engineer, Help Desk support, and Instructor at Northside Elementary School. Since 2007, they have been the CEO of Studiorathq.com, a company that backs the audio engineering instructional DVD series starring Richard Kaplan of Indigo Ranch Studios.
Stephen Couch began their educational journey at the University of Central Florida, where they earned a B.A. in English in 1994. Stephen then attended New York University, where they received a Certificate in Film Production in 1993. Following this, they attended the School of Audio Engineering, where they earned a Production degree in Audio Recording and Production in 1999. Stephen also attended The London School of Audio Engineering, where they studied Audio Production, though no degree was earned.
