Erin Aho, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Erin currently holds the position of Associate Director of Biology at Exscientia. Prior to this, they worked at Forma Therapeutics in various roles, including Senior Scientist I, Scientist II, and Scientist in the Biology department. Erin also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University in the lab of Dr. Bill Tansey, where they utilized RNA-seq to investigate the conservation of WDR5-regulated genes. Erin completed their PhD at Vanderbilt University, focusing on pharmacological WDR5 WIN site inhibition as an anti-leukemia target. Erin's earlier work experience includes a position as a Research Technologist at Penn State University, where they performed studies on DNA repair, and an undergraduate research assistant role at the University of Delaware, where they developed a fluorescent barcoding system for cell-based proteomic libraries. Additionally, they served as a Biological Sciences Teaching Assistant at the University of Delaware, teaching introductory biology concepts and laboratory techniques.
Erin Aho, PhD, received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware in 2012. Erin then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell and Developmental Biology at Vanderbilt University from 2014 to 2019.
