Co-Founder & CEO at Exponential DeFi

Driss Benamour is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Exponential DeFi, an investment platform focusing on Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Driss'srole involves simplifying DeFi investing and providing access to high-yield opportunities. Prior to this, Driss worked as an Angel Investor and Advisor for various startups starting from 2018.

Before their involvement with startups, Driss gained extensive experience at Uber, where they served as the Head of FinTech Products from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they developed flexible financial experiences for drivers, couriers, and restaurants, as well as introduced frictionless payment options for riders. Driss also led the Uber for Business product, driving significant revenue growth.

In 2010, Driss held positions at SmartBiz Loans, serving as the VP of Products. Driss played a pivotal role in pioneering real-time financing delivery and designing SmartPay, a leading consumer financing product for smartphones. Additionally, Driss was a Product Leader at SmartBiz Loans from 2010 to 2013.

Prior to their tenure at SmartBiz Loans, Driss worked at Zynga as a Product Manager for their popular Facebook game, Mafia Wars. During their time there, they achieved company-wide record revenue per user.

Driss co-founded HedgeMe in 2009 and served as a Co-Founder until 2010. Additionally, they gained experience as a Summer Product Manager at Eventbrite in 2008, where they created customer lifetime value and segmentation models and presented recommendations to the board of directors.

Driss began their career in finance, starting as a Summer Analyst in Fixed Income Trading at Morgan Stanley in 2007. The following year, they worked as a Summer Analyst in Commodities Trading at the same company.

Throughout their career, Driss Benamour has demonstrated their expertise in various roles, from product management to fintech innovation and founding successful ventures.

Driss Benamour received their formal education at several prestigious institutions. Driss attended Ipesup from 2003 to 2005, where they completed a Grandes Ecoles Preparatory Class. Following this, they enrolled at ENSAE Paris from 2005 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Financial Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science. Driss continued their academic journey at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued an MBA.
