Tanya Kregul is the Director of Finance and HR at Expo, Inc. Tanya has over eight years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on controllership and fractional controllership. Prior to their current role, they worked as a controller for CH Distillery, where they were responsible for all accounting and tax matters, including AP, AR, fixed assets, credit, GL, payroll, business tax, property tax, franchise / income tax. Tanya also developed detailed excel workbooks outlining the monthly journal entries, financial reporting and cash flow analysis.

During their time at CH Distillery, Tanya worked with the owner to create a rolling budget and a cashflow statement comparing actual to budget. Tanya also created an internal control system, recommended areas for improvement both financial and operational, and established new accounting policies and procedures which resulted in 80% reduction in inventory loss, 25% increase in timely payments. In addition, they negotiated and reduced real estate taxes by applying for a 6b incentive through the city and county board.

In their current role at Expo, Inc., Tanya is responsible for overseeing the finance and HR functions of the company. Tanya is also responsible for delivering timely financial reporting to upper management and Board Members, as well as managing and training all accounting staff.

Tanya Kregul has a BA in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and has also attended Boylan.
