Mainak Sarkar began their career in 2016 as part of the Operations Team at GoPigeon. Mainak was responsible for analyzing LP performance for efficient LP allotment and led to better and faster shipping, resulting in an increase of revenue by at least 75%. In 2017, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Eatable (Edulium Technologies Private Limited). In 2020, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Explorex (Explorex Technologies, Inc). Finally, in 2022, they became a Friend of FC (Venture Partner) at First Cheque, where they help passionate founders build their businesses and raise capital.

Mainak Sarkar attended Aditya Academy Senior Secondary from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Secondary Education in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Hindi, and Social Sciences. Mainak then went on to attend the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 2012 to 2017, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Electrical Engineering. Most recently, Mainak Sarkar attended Y Combinator in 2020.
