Alessandra Fontana has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alessandra currently holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Explora Journeys, a position they assumed in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at MSC Cruises, where they held two roles: Vice President Consumer Marketing from May 2020 to February 2022, and Head of Brand, Product, and On-board Marketing from September 2014 to May 2020. Before joining MSC Cruises, Alessandra worked at Procter & Gamble, where they held various European Brand Manager roles in different product categories from 2001 to 2012. Additionally, they have also worked at Mars as a Category Specialist for Pet food and Snack food from 1998 to 2000, and had a Sales Internship at Nestlé S.A. in 1997. Alessandra's extensive experience includes leading global product launches, developing marketing plans and strategies, coordinating roll-outs, improving sales, and training sales forces.
Alessandra Fontana has a diverse education history. In 1993, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.) degree in Economics from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. Additionally, in 1997, they attended ESSEC Business School, where they focused on Marketing. Alessandra also completed an exchange program at ESSEC Business School in 1996. More recently, they pursued digital marketing strategy studies at IMD, with a focus on marketing digital. Alessandra'seducation at IMD lasted until 2019.
