Patrick Kamnang Wanko, PhD, has a strong academic and professional background in data science and research. Patrick is currently working at Explain as an Engineering Manager since November 2022 and previously held the position of Data Science Project Manager from June 2019 to November 2022. Prior to Explain, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Capgemini Invent from May 2017 to May 2019. Patrick also gained experience as a Chercheur at the Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) from February 2014 to February 2017. In 2011, they enrolled at ENSAI, where they studied statistics, data mining, big data, and computer science, and completed their Ingenieur degree in 2013. Building upon this foundation, Patrick pursued a Doctorate in Computer Science at the University of Bordeaux from 2014 to 2017.
In addition to their formal education, Patrick Kamnang Wanko has also obtained various certifications in the field of machine learning.
