Kaitlyn Vanderlaan, LCSW, is an experienced grief specialist and therapist with a robust background in providing support and therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and the LGBTQ+ community. Currently serving as a grief specialist at Experience Camps for Grieving Children since August 2018, Kaitlyn has facilitated bereavement activities and sharing circles while guiding counselors and campers. Other roles include therapist positions at Beyond Therapy and Nutrition Center, Bucks Support Services, and Bucks LGBTQ Center, where Kaitlyn delivered psychotherapy and support. Additionally, Kaitlyn has experience teaching the THRIVE curriculum in high schools, facilitating discussions on critical issues for middle school girls, and supervising crisis counselors at Crisis Text Line. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ursinus College.
