Dimitrios Matrakas has extensive work experience in quality compliance and assurance roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Dimitrios is currently working as a Quality Compliance Manager at Experic since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Calyptus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from November 2020 to December 2021.

Before their role at Calyptus Pharmaceuticals, Dimitrios held positions at Virtus Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist from October 2019 to October 2020, and as a Quality Assurance Specialist from November 2016 to October 2019. Dimitrios Matrakas completed their education in a chronological manner. Starting in 1999, they attended Penn State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology. Dimitrios remained at Penn State University until 2003.

In 2003, Dimitrios then enrolled at George Mason University to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Microbial Biodefense. Dimitrios completed this program in 2004.

Continuing their education at George Mason University, Dimitrios embarked on a Master of Science (M.S.) program in Biology, specializing in Microbiology. Dimitrios started in 2004 and successfully completed their degree in 2007.
