John Ovrom has a diverse work history spanning across multiple industries. John founded Exit Consulting Group, Inc. in 2005 and served as its President for an indefinite period. John also founded Exit and Answers in 2009 and held the position of President until 2011. Ovrom worked at Objective Capital Partners, LLC as a Vice President from 2011 to 2015. John was a Managing Partner at Fortis Legacy Partners, LLC from 2012 onwards and has been a member of the Advisory Board of CPA MOMS, LLP since 2012. Ovrom served as an Owner and President of OSSO Construction, Inc from 1991 to 2005 and has since held various board positions. John served as Chairman of Board of Directors for Wilson Creek Winery from 2013 onwards, where they worked along with a team of other board members to manage the company in the best interest of the shareholders. Ovrom worked as Managing Director for Kactus Development, LLC from 2016 to 2022. John was one of the founding members of this US holding company, which develops businesses and builds residential communities in San Jose del Cabo, Baja Sur, Mexico.

John Ovrom attended the University of Redlands from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics.
