Henry Lugemwa is a highly experienced banking executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Exim Bank Uganda since March 2021, where strategic leadership, financial performance, risk management, and regulatory compliance are key responsibilities. Prior to this, Henry held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer-Business at Exim Bank Uganda Limited, focusing on the growth and management of various banking functions. Henry's career includes significant roles at ABSA Bank Uganda Limited, where responsibilities included leading the affluent segments and transactional products and services, as well as prior positions at Stanbic Bank Uganda and Standard Chartered Bank. Henry Lugemwa holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, both obtained from Makerere University.
