Dwane Shelton is an experienced Safety & Cybersecurity & Alarm Engineer at exida since November 2021, with prior roles as a Senior Automation/Controls Engineer at Modular Automation and Automation Engineer at DesignPro Ltd. Dwane has expertise in programming PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, vision systems, barcode scanners, and pneumatic control units, developed during tenure in various automation positions, including Process Automation Engineer at KOSTAL Ireland GmbH, where Dwane designed control systems and managed large machine builds. Dwane began a career in electrical work as a Senior Electrician at Marvelec and has extensive experience from an apprenticeship at Gerard Mullins Electrical, interfacing with domestic, commercial, and industrial installations. Dwane holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electronic Engineering from Limerick Institute of Technology and has a solid foundation in electrical principles acquired from early work with Shelton Contracting Ltd and training at Pallaskenry Agricultural College.
