Pinal Patel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and research. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Program Management at Exicure since June 2011, Pinal has a strong background as a Research Scientist at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense from January 2000 to August 2005, where significant contributions included developing a recombinant protein expression system based on Pichia pastoris. Pinal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from Northwestern University, attained between 2005 and 2011, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Towson University, completed in 1999.
