Sonja Turek is an accomplished senior account executive currently serving at Exhibition Place since June 2022, focused on association and government, trade, and consumer events. Previously, Sonja was the account director at Niagara Falls Convention Centre, where significant business development initiatives were led, achieving 100% of revenue goals within the initial four months. Sonja’s earlier experience at Destination Toronto included roles as account director for the U.S. market, international sales, and sport, where strategic collaborations and innovative solutions significantly enhanced organizational revenue and positioned Toronto as a leading international conference host. Sonja holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Social Sciences from McMaster University and has pursued leadership development training.
