Felicity George

Tutorial Lead, Faculty Of Maths And Science at Exeter College

Felicity George has a diverse work experience spanning various educational institutions and research projects. In 2010, they worked as a Marine Conservationist at Coral Cay Conservation. In 2013, they worked as a Visiting Worker at the University of Exeter, where they acquired new technical skills to assist Dr. Dana MacGregor's work. Later that year, they were a Summer Student (Visiting Worker) at the Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, where they gained further experience in horticulture and transient infection techniques. In 2013, they also served as an Administration Officer and PA to the Deputy Headmaster at The Leys School. In 2014, Felicity had a Summer Project at the Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, where they conducted leaf and root infection assays. From 2014 to 2016, they were a PHD Student at the University of Exeter. Felicity then became a PGCE Student from 2016 to 2017 at the same institution. In 2017, they started working at Exeter College as the Level 3 Biology Programme Leader. Starting in 2018, Felicity pursued a Master of Philosophy in Biological Sciences at the University of Exeter while also taking up roles as a Tutorial Lead and a member of the Faculty Management Group in the faculty of Maths and Science at Exeter College. Felicity'sMaster's degree program ended in 2019.

Felicity George attended Hills Road Sixth Form College from 2007 to 2009. Felicity then went on to study at the University of Exeter from 2010 to 2013, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a 2:1 in their field of study.
