Claire Lunn is an experienced professional with a background in education and training. Claire started their career at Staffordshire and West Midlands Probation Trust in 2008, where they worked as a Trainer/Facilitator. In this role, they facilitated group and individual training programs and gained accreditation in various programs. Claire also became a regional trainer during their time there.
In 2012, Claire joined South Devon College as a Training Officer for Apprenticeships. Claire was responsible for the recruitment and retention of apprentices and developed a strong knowledge of the hospitality sector. Claire also used their marketing skills to promote the success of apprenticeships both locally and nationally.
Since 2017, Claire has been working at Exeter College in various roles. Claire started as a Programme Leader for Psychology and Sociology and later became the Curriculum Area Manager for the same subjects. In 2021, they took on the role of PDP Resources Lead, where they provided support and guidance to students. Currently, they serve as the Acting Deputy Head of Faculty.
Claire Lunn pursued their education at various institutions over the years. From 2002 to 2005, they attended Staffordshire University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminology. Following that, they enrolled at South Devon College, and although the exact start year is not specified, their education there lasted until 2013. During this period, they focused on Marketing/Marketing Management, General, although they did not obtain a specific degree in this field. In 2015 and 2016, Claire attended South Devon College once again, achieving a Certificate in Education and Training, specializing in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching. Lastly, in 2022 and 2023, they attended the University of Worcester to earn a Diploma in PSHE, specializing in Education.
