Jim Hathaway has worked in various sales and account management roles for companies such as Exertis Almo, Vivitek Corporation, Optoma Technology, InFocus, and CDW Corporation. Jim has experience managing distribution and direct accounts, developing business plans, forecasting, executing strategic initiatives, and building relationships with sales teams and vendors. Hathaway has also championed new product lines and brands to the US market, increased market share, achieved revenue growth, and managed customer-facing product content, promotions, and pricing.

Jim Hathaway has a B.A. in English from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Jim attended Northern Illinois University for graduate studies in English and technical writing, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree. From 2001 to 2003, they attended McHenry County College to study photography.
