Robert Matthews serves as the Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Exelon since December 2019, responsible for leading Workforce Development strategies and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote STEM education and career training. Prior to joining Exelon, Robert held multiple human resources roles at Baltimore Gas & Electric from 2005 to 2019, including Director of Talent Management and Talent Acquisition. Earlier career experience includes managerial positions at Vertis Communications and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. Robert holds an Executive Certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from Georgetown University, a Master of Science in Counseling from Loyola University Maryland, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources from the University of Baltimore.
