Jakob Larsson is a co-founder of Exciscope, which specializes in next-generation x-ray microimaging since June 2020. Prior to this, Jakob served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan from July 2013 to April 2021, focusing on propagation-based phase-contrast x-ray imaging using laboratory sources. The academic journey includes a PhD with a thesis on "Laboratory x-ray fluorescence tomography" and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2013. Additional education includes research at The University of Tokyo in 2012 and studies at KAI Japanese Language School from 2010 to 2011.
