Paulo Batista is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles within the information security sector. Currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert at CompTIA since August 2024, Paulo also acts as the Manager of the Red Team and Penetration Tester at Exchange Technology Services, a position held since January 2022. Previously, a Senior Information Security Specialist for the City of Winnipeg, Paulo's earlier positions include Security Analyst at Exchange Technology Services and Security Engineer at Check Point Software Technologies, among others. With an educational background that includes an Associate’s Degree in Cyber Defence and Cloud Administration from the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, a Certificate in Digital Forensics from Universidade Católica de Brasília, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Universidade de Pernambuco, Paulo possesses a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of cybersecurity.
