Laura (Levi) Vie has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Laura (Levi) began their career as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Progressive Spine Care and Rehabilitation in 1999. In 2004, they began working at eXcelisys as an Account Manager and Lead Software Developer. In 2005, they started working at the University of Missouri as a Scuba Instructor. Throughout their career, they have specialized in business software applications built in FileMaker Pro and has been certified in FileMaker Pro v8, FileMaker Pro v9, FileMaker Pro v10, FileMaker Pro v11 and FileMaker Pro v12. Additionally, they have been certified as a McKenzie Part A and Part B therapist for spinal treatment and a ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist.

Laura (Levi) Vie has a long history of education and certifications. Laura (Levi) obtained a BEd in Secondary Physical Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 1979 and 1984. Laura (Levi) then went on to receive a MAPE in Exercise Physiology from the same university between 1988 and 1996. Vie has also obtained a number of certifications, including Certified Filemaker Pro 12 Developer from Filemaker Inc in 2013, Certified Filemaker Pro 11 Developer from FileMaker Inc in 2010, McKenzie Part B from McKenzie Institute USA in 2001, McKenzie Part A from McKenzie Institute USA in 2001, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist from American College of Sports Medicine in 1999, MedX Lumbar & Cervical Extension from Medx Corporation in 1989, and Scuba Instructor from NAUI Worldwide in 1987.
