Shekhar Hari Kumar holds a PhD in International Economics. Shekhar has worked in macro-finance research for 10 years. His research primarily focuses on the international trilemma, studying the interaction between capital flows and exchange rate / monetary policy in emerging markets. His secondary research interests include financial econometrics and changepoint analysis.
He has previously worked as a consultant at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi and is an alumnus of IHEID Geneva and IIT-Madras
