Amir Jabri has extensive experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Amir currently holds the position of Vice President of Information Technology and Cybersecurity at Exactuals, where they began working in March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Business Information Security Officer at City National Bank from April 2020 to February 2021, where they played a crucial role in reducing security and risk-related issues across the organization. Amir also worked as a Global Information Security Consultant at Abbott from 2019 to 2020, where they implemented a comprehensive vulnerability management program and improved incident response and security operations. Before that, they served as the Information Security Manager at Accuray from 2018 to 2019, where they developed and implemented a global information security strategy. Amir also held various positions at Marvell Semiconductor, SSL (Space Systems Loral), L3 Technologies, DynTek, and SAIC, where they gained valuable expertise in information security and led teams in supporting systems infrastructure and ensuring their security.
Amir Jabri has a Master's degree in Information Assurance from the University of Detroit Mercy, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a focus on Security at Baker College from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Amir has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2015. Amir has also received certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA Project and CompTIA Security, both obtained in 2007, and CompTIA Security+ Certification in 2006. Amir has also earned various Microsoft certifications such as MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSA1: Security on Windows Server 2003, MCSA1: Windows Server 2003, MCSE1: Security on Windows Server 2003, and MCSE1: Windows Server 2003, all obtained in 2007. Additionally, they completed the Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership program through LinkedIn in 2019.
