Dr. Wigen completed his Masters degree in 2013, on real-time display of streamed ultrasound and other physiological data sources. In 2019 he finished his PhD, on estimation and visualisation of blood flow imaging in 3D using ultrasound, from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

He has over 8 years experience in the field of ultrasound from both academic research and from working in the industry with GE Vingmed Ultrasound.
