Axel Schmidt has an extensive background in the automotive industry, currently serving as an Investor and Mentor at HarvestAi and holding senior advisory roles at AutoIQ and S44 Automotive since May 2024. In addition, Schmidt is an investor at HEERO by E-Works Mobility and Hybrid Lidar Systems AG, both roles starting in 2024. Prior to these positions, Schmidt spent over a decade at Accenture DACH as Senior Managing Director and Global Industry Sector Lead for Automotive, overseeing worldwide operations and guiding automotive leaders through the evolving mobility landscape. Schmidt's early career included a notable tenure as Senior Partner at Roland Berger from 1991 to 2012. Educational qualifications include a Dipl. Ing in Maschinenbau from the University of Stuttgart, earned between 1985 and 1991.
