Martin Castin began their work experience as a Trainee at EVS Broadcast Equipment in January 2018, where they worked until June 2018. Martin then joined EVS again, this time as an Innovation Engineer in September 2018. In this role, they focused on developing Artificial Intelligence solutions for the broadcast industry, including computer vision, numerical optimization, and deep learning. Martin was responsible for core AI components integrated into products.
Prior to their work at EVS, Martin was a Student Teacher at the University of Liège from September 2015 to June 2017, where they assisted with courses in analysis and algebra, computer science, and digital electronics. Martin also participated in various workshops and internships, including a strategy consulting workshop at BCG Ltd. in October 2016 and the "Seeds For the Future" program at Huawei Technologies in August 2016. In addition, Martin had student job experiences at Espace Fun in July-August 2013 and Five Nations Golf Club in July-August 2012.
Martin Castin began their education at the Institut du Sacré-Coeur Barvaux from 2007 to 2013, where they pursued Latin, mathematics, and Dutch immersion options, earning a CESS degree. Martin then went on to attend the University of Liège from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree, specializing in Computer Science and electricity. Martin further expanded their education by pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Liège from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at DTU - Technical University of Denmark as part of their Erasmus program.
