Julien Meurée

Lead QC Engineer & System Engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment

Julien Meurée has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering, primarily in the software and testing domains. Julien has worked for various companies including EVS Broadcast Equipment, Airbus Defence and Space, Intel Corporation, Thales, and Motorola.

At EVS Broadcast Equipment, Julien has worked as a Lead QC Engineer & System Engineer, responsible for analyzing functional and technical specifications, planning and executing test campaigns, integrating software, and writing technical documentation. Julien also automated tests using Spock/groovy and Java.

At Airbus Defence and Space, Julien was involved in the validation of flight software for an Earth observation satellite. Their responsibilities included writing test plans.

During their time at Intel Corporation, Julien worked as a subcontractor, where they automated functional tests, performed pre-certification and carrier acceptance tests for Atom and Skylake programs. Julien also worked on the validation and automation of tests for GPS and Glonass systems.

Julien also worked at Thales as a subcontractor, where they developed a video acquisition and replay module in C++. Julien also contributed to the integration and formalization of an onboard real-time platform.

At Airbus Group, Julien was involved in the progressive and formal integration of an embedded real-time platform for the A350 program. Julien wrote "RTRT System Test" scripts and analyzed network frames.

Julien's earliest work experience was at Thales, where they worked as a subcontractor for Alten Sud-Ouest. Julien developed a native tester for an embedded real-time software program using ADA95. Julien also wrote test plans and executed tests for a flight management system.

Julien started their career at Motorola as a subcontractor for Alten Sud-Ouest. Julien worked on the characterization of product status before production and the launch of a new platform. Julien also automated and validated test scripts on a 2G simulator.

Throughout their career, Julien has gained extensive experience in software testing, test automation, validation, and integration. Julien has worked on various projects in the broadcasting, aerospace, and technology industries.

Julien Meurée obtained their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Electronique et Traitement Numérique du Signal from Polytech'Nice-Sophia, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. These include the ISTQB - Analyste de Test, which they obtained in September 2020, as well as the ISTQB - CTFL-AT and ISTQB - CTFL certifications, which they acquired in June 2018 and May 2018 respectively.
