Geoffrey Crespin has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Geoffrey is currently working as a Senior Solutions Architect at EVS Broadcast Equipment since August 2020. Prior to this, from December 2010 to August 2020, Geoffrey worked at IntelSec Consulting SPRL as a Security Consultant specializing in Cyber Defence. Geoffrey demonstrated expertise in project management, security policy changes, and infrastructure creation. Geoffrey also held the position of Senior Consultant at Deloitte from September 2016 to July 2017.

From 2011 to 2016, Geoffrey was a Senior Security Consultant at the Council of the European Union. In this role, they played a vital role in various areas including incident response, SIEM integration, IDS/IPS design and operation, threat intelligence integration, and more.

Before that, Geoffrey worked as a Security Consultant at C-CURE from December 2008 to December 2010. Geoffrey was also a Network Security Expert WAN-DMZ at the Federal Public Service-Foreign Affairs from April 2007 to December 2008. Geoffrey started their career as a Trainee at Proximus in February 2005 and later became a System Administrator Data Switching from July 2005 to April 2007 at the same company.

Throughout their career, Geoffrey has acquired advanced knowledge in areas such as network security, cyber defense, project management, SIEM integration, TCP/IP stack, and various security tools and protocols.

Geoffrey Crespin completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics-Telecommunications at Liege Institute of Technology ISET from 2002 to 2005. Geoffrey then pursued a Master's degree in Engineering at HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège from 2001 to 2002. Later, from 2014 to 2015, they attended Ecole Supérieure d'informatique de Paris ESI, where they obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology.

In terms of certifications, Geoffrey holds various credentials. Geoffrey obtained the Management 3.0 Foundation certification from Management 3.0 in April 2022. In March 2022, they completed the AWS Technical Essentials certification offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Geoffrey also attained the AWS Security Engineering certification from AWS in February 2022. In April 2021, they acquired the Alibaba Cloud Associate - Cloud Computing certification from Alibaba Group. Furthermore, Geoffrey obtained the GIAC Advisory Board certification from GIAC in June 2015, along with the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification. In April 2017, they achieved the ISO/CEI 27005 Risk Manager certification from LSTI. For their remaining certifications, including ITIL v3 Foundation, Juniper Certified Internet Associate and Specialist, Palo Alto ACE, and TOEIC, the specific month and year of obtaining those certifications are not provided.
