G. Michael "Roddy" McDowell began their career in 1990 with the U.S. Navy Reserve, where they served as LCDR-Retired. In 2002, they joined NetJets as a Captain. In 2014, they moved to Delta Air Lines as a First Officer. In 2022, they joined EVRYMAN as a Facilitator and Men’s Coach, where they served as an emotional fitness guide and facilitator, focusing on somatic awareness and expanding emotional awareness. G. Michael "Roddy" also served as a Facilitator and Coach.

G. Michael "Roddy" McDowell attended New York University from 2021 to 2024, where they earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Social Work. G. Michael "Roddy" also attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1994 to 2000.
