Zubair Ahmed Nizamudeen is a Senior Research Scientist at Evox Therapeutics Ltd, specializing in exosome biology and design for targeted gene editing since January 2022. Previously, Zubair served as a Research Scientist focused on engineering extracellular vesicles for efficient gene editing. Prior to joining Evox, Zubair held two postdoctoral research fellow positions at the University of Nottingham from October 2014 to December 2021, where research concentrated on mitochondrial dysfunction in neurological disorders and advanced biomedical imaging technologies in the Endothelial and Vascular Imaging Laboratory. Zubair holds a PhD in Human Development and Medicine and a Master’s degree in Stem Cell Technology, both from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Biotechnology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
