Phil Humble has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. In 2009, they started their career as a Sales Associate at John Lewis Partnership, where they worked until 2013. In 2021, they joined WSP as a Pledge to Net Zero Intern, where they developed carbon accounting and reporting guidance for organizations committing to net zero. In the same year, they also began working at EVORA Global as a Junior Sustainability Consultant, and later moved up to the role of Sustainability Consultant in 2023.

Phil Humble completed their GCSEs and A-levels at Queen Elizabeth High School from 2006 to 2011. Phil then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Politics at the University of Leeds, which they completed from 2013 to 2017. In 2017 and 2018, Phil participated in a Mandarin Intensive Course at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Sustainability & Consultancy from the University of Leeds in 2021. Additionally, in September 2020, Phil obtained a student membership certification from the IEMA institution.
