Umith Indula Wimlarathna is a skilled technology consultant with extensive experience in software engineering and community service, currently working at EvonSys since May 2021 in various consultancy roles. Involved with IEEE Sri Lanka Section SIGHT from April 2022 to March 2023, Umith contributed to addressing local humanitarian issues through technology. Additionally, Umith played a significant role in the IEEE Student Branch at the University of Moratuwa, serving as Chairman and Co-Chair of organizing committees for major events. Prior engagements include leadership positions in the Rotaract Club of Alumni of the University of Moratuwa and as a Rotaractor at the University of Moratuwa, participating in award-winning projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Advanced Software Engineering from the University of Westminster and a B.Sc. in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa, with ongoing studies at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
