Thilo Krapfl began their work experience in 2001 with an International Internship Program at BASF. In 2004, they joined Evonik as a Project Engineer and worked in that role until 2008. Thilo then transitioned to the position of Technical Service Manager from 2008 to 2011. Thilo was promoted to Plant Manager in 2011, where they managed a stand-alone plant and oversaw its expansion. Thilo became the Global Sales Process Manager in 2015 and was responsible for sales processes on a global scale. From 2016 to 2020, Thilo served as the Customer Relations Director EMEA, managing customer relationships in the EMEA region. In January 2021, they were promoted to the position of Vice President Global Marketing Industrial.

Thilo Krapfl earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Chemical Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg between 1997 and 2003.
