Mike Ahrens is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and project management within the life sciences and chemical sectors. Currently serving as Quality Assurance Manager at Evonik since June 2015, Mike Ahrens is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality commitments and continuous improvement of the Site Quality Management System in accordance with applicable cGMP standards. Prior roles include Principal Project Manager and Senior Project Manager at Evonik, where effective project leadership and customer coordination were key responsibilities. Previously, Mike Ahrens worked as a Scientific Team Manager at BASi and held various senior scientist roles at Ohmx Corporation. A solid academic foundation is evident, with a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Chemistry from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Trinity Christian College.
