William Swenson

Strategic Communications and Engagement at Evoke Consulting

William Swenson has a diverse work experience, including roles in strategic communication and engagement. William worked at Evoke Research and Consulting, LLC and ActioNet, Inc. in similar roles. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor for Intergovernmental and External Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy. William also worked as a self-employed freelance writer and consultant. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Political Leadership and Strategy at United Cerebral Palsy. In 2006, they joined the Office of the Mayor as a Senior Advisor to the Criminal Justice Coordinator, where they played a key role in Mayors Against Illegal Guns. Lastly, Swenson worked as a Deputy Regional Finance Director at the Democratic National Committee in 2004.

William Swenson attended the University of Chicago from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. After that, they enrolled in The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Master's degree (MSc) in Political Theory.
