Sharat Visweswara has worked in the tech industry since 2002. Sharat began their career as an intern at PicoPeta Simputers, where they worked on content creation tools with local Indian language support. In 2004, they joined Amazon.com as a Software Development Engineer I and II and worked on building highly scalable and highly available web services. In 2011-2012, they worked on Amazon Deals (Goldbox) Platform and designed a platform that consolidated multiple disparate legacy deals platforms into a single coherent one. In 2013, they joined Amazon Web Services as a Software Engineer III and drove the construction and adoption of a "test sandbox" across multiple EBS teams. Finally, in 2020, they joined Evocalize as a Founding/Principal Engineer. At Evocalize, they translated the founderā€™s vision into a fully-fledged SaaS solution that supports a multi-million-dollar revenue stream and continues to grow rapidly. Sharat also established the engineering culture at Evocalize and was responsible for architecting, implementing and operating the core SaaS product.

Sarat Visweswara completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science and Engg from Bangalore University between 1997 and 2001. Sharat then went on to pursue their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from North Carolina State University between 2002 and 2004.
