Lauren Sherman has a diverse background in event planning and management. Lauren started their career in 1999 as a Special Events Coordinator at the Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital Foundation. Lauren then moved on to become the Director of Development at the Breast Cancer Care and Research Fund, where they successfully increased donation revenue. In 2001, they started their own company, Lauren A. Sherman Event Consulting, where they specialized in fundraising proposals and event management. Lauren later became the Director of Marketing at Checkers Catering and Special Events, where they redeveloped the company's brand and marketing plan. Lauren also worked as a Principal, Event Designer and Planner at Devine Dezigns, where they owned and operated a full-service event planning company. Lauren held various event consultant roles at Garage Team Mazda and Devine Dezigns Petite. In 2011, they became an Event Consultant at Evisions, and in 2012, they joined Stadium Brewing Company as a Private Dining and Special Events Manager. Throughout their career, Lauren has gained experience in event planning, marketing, sales, client relations, and vendor management.
Lauren Sherman completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Lauren then pursued further education and obtained a Certificate of Fundraising from UCLA, with an emphasis on Special Events, from 2000 to 2002.
