Vera Xu has a diverse range of work experience in the technology and biomedical fields. Vera is currently working as a Software Engineer at Evidently since May 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at Apple, where they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer from October 2020 to April 2021, and Software Engineer from July 2017 to September 2020. Before their tenure at Apple, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Bergin Sensor Research Lab from April 2016 to May 2017, and as a Web Software Developer at Raw Catering Co. in July 2016. Vera also gained experience as a Biomedical Technician at Engineering World Health from June 2015 to August 2015.

Vera Xu began their education at Duke University in 2013 and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree. Vera pursued a dual major in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as Biomedical Engineering during their time at Duke. In 2016, Vera also obtained a Web Development Certificate from IXperience. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue further education at Stanford University in 2017. Vera completed an Artificial Intelligence Graduate Certificate in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2020.
