Lars Peters has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lars is currently working as a Senior Director of Business Development for EVgo, where they oversee various responsibilities including business development, network planning, public funding, and utility relationships on the West Coast. Prior to this, Lars worked as an Independent Consultant, focusing on accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lars also served as a Senior Advisor on Zero Emission Vehicles and organized the Mayor's EVWG Subcommittee on Electric Mobility during this time. Before becoming an independent consultant, Lars held multiple roles at Cisco, including Director of Global Service Provider Sales for Cisco Meraki. Lars achieved significant growth for Meraki's global business through the Service Provider channel and built strong relationships with Tier 1 partners, resulting in successful service launches. Lars also worked as the Director of Corporate Strategy and Senior Manager at Cisco, where they led strategy functions and identified new market opportunities. Prior to Cisco, Lars was the Executive Vice President of North America for Hippo, overseeing all operations in the region. Lars managed key accounts and delivered solutions to renowned organizations such as the University of Southern California, Fidelity Investments, and Thomson Reuters. Lars began their career at The Boston Consulting Group, where they held various roles, including Project Leader and Consultant. During their time at BCG, they specialized in financial services, telecom/IT, and energy sectors, leading teams and advising clients on market entry strategies and organizational restructuring. Before joining BCG, Lars was the Founder and CFO of Smarthaven, a company that was later acquired by Quote Media.

Lars Peters holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, which they completed in 2006.
