Keith Beckstead

Senior Director, EVSE Engineering at EVgo

Keith Beckstead has extensive experience in the field of electric vehicle engineering. Keith is currently the Director of EVSE Engineering at EVgo since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior EV Systems Engineer at EVgo from November 2018 to February 2021. Before joining EVgo, Keith served as the Principal Electrical Engineer at Faraday Future from August 2016 to November 2018. Keith also has experience as an Electrical Engineer at AeroVironment from December 2009 to May 2016, where they worked with various charges for electric vehicles and was a member of the SAE J1772 committee. Keith worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at US Hybrid from June 2006 to December 2009, where they designed high power dc-dc converters for electric, fuel cell, and hybrid vehicles. Keith gained further experience as an Electrical Engineer at Enova Systems Inc/Hyundai Enova Innovative Technology Center from 2001 to 2006, working on power electronics for electric vehicles. Keith's early career includes working as an EE at Magnetek from 2000 to 2002, focusing on Switched Mode Power Supply Design.
