Billy Haque has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Billy began their career in 2001 as a Senior Associate in the Assurance & Business Advisory Services division at PwC. At PwC, they analyzed and audited the fiscal performance of large multinational firms, audited and reviewed public filings to support audit opinions, and proposed enhancements to clients' financial management, existing accounting processes, and controls to mitigate risks.
In 2004, Haque joined EY as the Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) Practice Leader for the Finance Management Advisory Practice. In this role, they led transformation programs and end-to-end implementations supporting the CFO agenda, across profitability management, planning, budgeting and forecasting, finance transformation, regulatory reporting, and managed services solutions. Billy also oversaw large-scale projects and programs and consistently managed project budgets above targets.
In 2019, Haque co-founded Everstell, a startup Fintech specializing in supporting asset managers, private equity firms, hedge funds, (multi-strategy firms) banking and capital markets, and insurance entities with all things supporting the CFO/Finance function. Everstell leads streamlined profitability solutions specializing in the attribution of cost dimensions across funds, strategies, and firmwide. They also offer a comprehensive profitability technology solution supporting allocation methods, management reporting packages, KPIs, metrics and analyses.
Billy Haque has completed a D.E.C. in Commerce from Marianopolis College, a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy & Management Information Systems from Concordia University, and obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the New York State Education Department. Billy also attended Loyola High School of Montreal. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the New York State Department of State in March 2009.
