Jacklyn Novak has worked in the optics industry for over a decade. Jacklyn began their career in 2009 as an Intern at CeramTec North America. In 2010, they joined Clemson University as a Research Assistant. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at LightPath Technologies, first as a Glass Fabrication Manager and later as an IR Material Engineer, where they conducted R&D on chalcogenide glass materials for molded infrared optics and implemented chalcogenide glass production for multiple compositions. In 2022, they joined Everix Optical Filters as the Director of Operations.
Jacklyn Novak has obtained three degrees. From 2006 to 2010, they earned a B.S. in Ceramic and Materials Engineering from Clemson University. Jacklyn then earned a M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Clemson University from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they earned a M.S. in Chemistry from Universit\u00e9 de Bordeaux from 2010 to 2012.
