Angie Monaco RN, BSN, CCDS possesses extensive experience in nursing and clinical documentation. Currently serving as a Clinical Documentation Specialist at EvergreenHealth since February 2019, Angie previously worked as a Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic Unit at Overlake Medical Center & Clinics and in a seasonal walk-in flu immunization clinic at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Prior to these roles, Angie held a Clinical Documentation Specialist position at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, where responsibilities included analyzing patient clinical status and ensuring accurate documentation per CMS regulations. Additionally, Angie has experience as a Charge Nurse in a General Surgery Unit at Virginia Mason Medical Center and has supported clinical research at the Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington.
