Sonia Vail has extensive experience in both sales and laboratory environments. Currently serving as a Sales Assistant and Nursery Technician at Evergreen Nursery, Inc. since February 2016, Sonia is responsible for quality control and management of perennials and groundcovers, handling online broker sales, organizing daily orders, and loading materials for delivery. Previously, Sonia worked as a Lab Assistant at the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study and the University of Georgia's Sea Turtle Genetics Lab, where tasks included sorting and identifying specimens and preparing DNA samples, respectively. Early experience at the University of Georgia Marine Microbiology Lab involved conducting experiments on marine bacteria, developing skills in various laboratory techniques. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources with a focus on Wildlife Biology and Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from the University of Georgia.
