Michael Bassetti has a strong background in consulting and IT. Michael started their career as a Faculty member at Walden University in 2004. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as an IT consultant at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, where they were involved in a database migration project and also served as a Licensing intern. In 2008, they joined Epic as an EDI/Bridges Interface Analyst, where they played a key role in designing and supporting interface architectures for customers. Michael then worked as a Software Consultant at an unspecified company in 2011. In 2012, they joined Vonlay as a Senior Interfaces Consultant and served until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Huron Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant. Michael then moved to Avaap in 2016, where they continued their role as a Senior Consultant until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Voca in the same capacity. In 2018, they joined Huron as a Senior Consultant, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they are working as a Senior Consultant at Evergreen Healthcare Partners, where they have been serving since November 2019.

Michael Bassetti holds a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Prior to this, they pursued an M.S in Biomedical Engineering from the same university, completing it from 2001 to 2002. Michael's educational journey began at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a B.S in Electrical Engineering from 1993 to 1998.
