Ingo Bensch conducts market, behavioral, and evaluation research to inform energy-related programs and policy, combining sound research principles with pragmatic approaches; his areas of particular topical expertise include human behavior and decision-making, residential energy efficiency, and the study of information-based programs. Ingo has considerable experience in gathering the perspectives of stakeholders, market participants, and other decision-makers using interviews, discussion sessions, focus groups, and surveys and then interpreting the implications of the input gathered. Most of his project work seeks to understand the practices and actual or potential impacts of program interventions on a wide variety of stakeholders.
