Melissa Catania

Senior Manager, Sales Readiness at EVERFI

Melissa Catania has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Melissa is currently working as a Senior Manager of Sales Readiness at EVERFI since December 2021. Prior to this, Melissa worked at the Washington Capitals as a Game Night Staff, Membership Services, where they provided support to VIP ticket holders and ensured a great customer experience at the games.

Melissa also gained experience at NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) as a Senior Board Advisor and Membership Advisor. In their role as a Senior Board Advisor, they focused on project management across business units, acted as a subject matter expert for internal Data Analytics and IT teams, and provided support to the Membership team. As a Membership Advisor, Melissa managed client relationships for a portfolio of over 250 corporate boards and helped connect members with relevant resources and educational offerings.

Melissa also had involvement in WIN (Women's Information Network), where they served as the Professional Development Series Co-Chair and was a part of the YWA Leadership Team. Additionally, they worked as an Ad Operations Contractor at FierceMarkets, managing digital advertising and email marketing projects for B2B sales in the telecom and healthcare industries.

Before that, Melissa gained experience as a Client Services team member at Revolution Messaging, overseeing digital and mobile communications programs for clients, including major labor unions and nonprofits. Melissa also worked at the Center for American Progress as an Audience Relations Associate, focusing on email marketing and list segmentation. Melissa began their career at the Partnership for Public Service as a Constituent Relationship Management Fellow.

Overall, Melissa Catania has demonstrated skills in sales readiness, customer support, project management, membership management, client relationship management, and digital marketing.

Melissa Catania attended Lake Norman High School from 2003 to 2007, but did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study during that time. From 2007 to 2011, they studied at Emory University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science. Additionally, in January 2022, they obtained a Training Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) institution.
