Daniel Zapp, PhD has significant experience in research and data analysis. Daniel has worked at EVERFI since 2012, starting as the Associate Director of Research and later being promoted to Director of Research and then Senior Director of Research. In these roles, they are responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, and disseminating data from EVERFI's products. Daniel also contributes to research collaborations and thought leadership in the field.
Prior to their time at EVERFI, Daniel worked as an Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University from 2011 to 2015, teaching and assisting with research. Daniel also served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute from 2011 to 2012.
Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Systems Analyst at Westat from 2005 to 2007. Daniel also gained teaching experience as an Instructor/Science Department Chair at Lehigh Valley Summerbridge from 2002 to 2004.
Daniel Zapp, PhD completed their education with a PhD in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University, from 2007 to 2011. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, studying from 2000 to 2003. Daniel's educational journey began at Liberty High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1995 to 1999.
