Gene Smith is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in team leadership and technical support across various sectors. Currently serving as the Information Technology Team Lead at Ever.Ag since September 2011, Gene oversees a team that provides primary support for internal systems including SIS, Accounting, Advancement, and Payroll. Previous roles include Helpdesk and PC Hardware Support Manager at the Administrative Office of Courts in Alabama, where Gene managed a team for the judicial system, as well as Application and Technology Support at Faulkner University. Additional experience includes IT management at Regions Financial Corporation, call center supervision, product management, and project management roles in various organizations. Gene holds a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Auburn University at Montgomery.
